Iados, growing so irritated that rain seems to steam off of his ruddy skin, growls out, "Stop your nattering, old man, and lead us to this shelter lest your tale end here on this godforsaken hillside. All other questions can wait until then, to include how truly managed to avoid the stewpots of the Orcs."

I flash a smile back at the Halfling and wrap the cloak around myself, grateful for the cloak no matter the condition its in. I assume my position in the back of the party and take guard of the rear.
"Lead the way Keestake. Never mind my sharp tongued friend. We are all malnourished and eager to get to shelter. Thank you for helping us by the way."

Keestake looks at Iados and laughs, “Hahahahahah, your funny! But, yes yes follow me. This way. To the Temple! I am no priest by any means but i have always felt great respect for it. The orcs sacked it three days ago looking for the treasure, but they ran off when the thunder started, this storm has been howling ever since. Oh, don’t worry about them they won’t be back, when they held me i overheard them saying how much they feared the place, but noble ones, such as you all, seeking only shelter, wont gain the wrath of the Goddess.”
“And as for the treasure, yes I saw you perk up little one.” he says to Paela, “There’s a lot of it. You know what grave-goods are? Where Videl was from, they like to bury their noble dead with presents. When the dead wake up, in the time that the gods decree, they still have their favorite play-pretties with them. Viledel had him a son who died, and the Sea King buried him with weapons and armor and sacks of gold and a few servants and a little boat to sail ’em all over the seas. We can drag that boat down the catacombs to this place you can get at from the inside, but not the outside. But gettin’ at the goods is going to be hard. To get into the burial catacombs, you have to get into the manor where all them inhuman monsters is killing one another. We can figure out how to do that when we’re all warm and rested.”
