So I was thinking now the Tate has died and came back as a reveant, has his gloom pact been broken? When he died he was brought back by a new/lost god. Does that make his gloom pact over and he will also reclass to a different type of warlock pact.? If so which one? Or will he have to retrain into a new class possibly swordmage? Or maybe even something else? In my mind he could now either have a new pact with his "luck god" and try to customize pact boons, powers etc. or become some kind of other class that closely follows the hexblade warlock. Not sure what to do but I don't feel after his "death and rebirth" he still would maintain a pact with a creature from the gloom. This could also offer some interesting issues as whoever he had the pact with now feels cheated out of his soul And is now out for him. Any advice would be appreciated.

Keep in mind that DnD characters CAN be polythestic. Suppose he keeps his gloom pact with his old god - and then (with DM permissions, ofc) gets a new pact with the old/lost god? Maybe Dan would consider running a side quest line for you to help you "find yourself"? You sound like you're in the same boat I was a couple of days ago LOL. I"d forget reclassing or hybridizing or multiclassing - doesn't seem worth the hassle with the 4e rules. Perhaps, like Snidley now has a pissed off spirit following him around, you could get a penalty to stealth checks? like a -1? The gloom/shadow gods hate you so its harder for you to be concealed? I''mnot sure.....

Not sure what to do here. I don't mind the gloom pact but just don't feel it fits the character now that he has meet his god and given a new leash on life. Thinking he needs to be more luck type, not gloomy. I do like the idea of a pissed off demon or something following him and can even get with the idea of a tougher stealth check. I guess when Dan is able I can work it out with him. I did notice that a straight warlock has a few luck type powers that would fit pretty good and I don't think it would be to hard to create a "Luckblade" little tweeting some of the powers and it could work out pretty good. Of course I don't think the character builder would be able to handle it so books it will have to be. Maybe I will try to roll up a new class for Tate and see what Dan thinks. Wouldn't get crazy just take a few of the luck type powers and use those. Will need a new pact boon weapon though. This could play real good into the crit chart I have for effects of hit and miss.

Yeah itd go pretty well with that chart. I dunno man I had to do alot of thinking to determine where exactely I wanted Snidley to go, but I think I have him on the right path now, especially once I discovered what some of the items are capable of. Maybe you can find some inspiration there in the vaults with ideas that can help flesh out a rough draft of a character? You're probably right where the builder is concerned though, so it'll take some doing but its not impossible
